Hi, I’m Emma Lee and this is my story.
Connection has always been at the heart of who I am - I’ve sought to build deep, meaningful relationships in both my personal and professional worlds.
My career journey has taken me through psychology, advertising, PR and eco-property development - quite the mix hey? I’m also a wife and mother of two, which means life is full, sometimes chaotic and always evolving.
Being half Danish, I embrace the concept of ‘Hygge’ - which is all about creating warmth, ease and an environment where people feel truly at home and cozy. The Danes do this so well and if you’ve ever spent time in the Nordic countries over Christmas, you may have experienced it through candlelight and gløgg (mulled wine). Writing this, I want to step right into that now!
Okay so getting back to my journey…
Somewhere along the way, amidst the juggling act of career, family and responsibilities, I stopped feeling myself. I started questioning everything - losing track of conversations, struggling to make decisions, feeling overwhelmed and like I was somehow slipping away... I didn’t understand why and I didn’t really recognise myself... Was I losing it? Was I just not coping? I couldn’t even answer this seemingly simple question - what really makes me tick?
Then I discovered coaching.
Through coaching, I realised just how much my mindset was shaping my experience - and that I had the power to reshape it. I learned that my brain fog, self-doubt and exhaustion weren’t signs of failure; they were signals that something needed to change. I gave myself permission to think about my needs and put myself first - wow, really? Yes, to invest in my growth and start becoming the main character of my story. It was revolutionary. By shifting my mindset, reclaiming my confidence and learning to manage my energy differently, I found my way forward.
I then started to reach more of my potential.
In the process, I came to understand who I am - and now I help others do the same. Being part of these results is truly wonderful.
